An Investigation of the Effects of Age, Size, and Hardware Option on the Critical Success Factors Applicable to Information Centers

HOUSTON H . CARR, Ph.D, PE, is an Assistant Professor of Management (MIS) in the College of Business Administration at The University of Georgia. Before completing his doctorate in information systems, he spent twenty-one years in industry, the last nine of which were active in analysis, design, and consulting in the area of computer-based pricing and proposal monitoring systems. His research interests include the information center concept as a means of supporting end-user computing, deicision support systems, and the concept of computer applications userfriendliness. Dr. Carr has published in Data Base and Information and Management.
